This site brings together the text of Ibn al-Arabi’s al-Futūḥāt al-Makkiyya, printed and manuscript references, translations, and reading resources. Its aim is to make a large work easier to explore while keeping its sources visible.
What is available in English
The existing English translation, the complete chapter directory, thirty-seven volume introductions and contents pages, reading guides, and the author’s books and research links are gathered under one interface. Reference books and the Konya-aligned digital text remain in Arabic, with English navigation and descriptions.
Reading and checking a passage
Start with a chapter or printed reference. Follow the surrounding text, then inspect the source image where it is available. English records are connected to the Arabic edition using printed volume and page information.
This edition of the website
The English pages now use a consistent layout, keep pagination links, place reader details below the main text, and use shared image folders at the site root. Reading-time labels have been removed.
Contribute a correction
