Know that self-manifestation is forbidden without disagreement among the people of truths without manifestation, and manifestation in appearances, which is manifestation in the forms of beliefs, exists without dispute, and manifestation in intelligibles exists without disagreement, and they are the manifestation of considerations, because these manifestations, whether they are forms of intelligibles or forms of beliefs, are bridges that can be crossed. With knowledge, that is, knowing that there is something behind these forms, it is not valid for him to bear witness or to know, and not behind that is the known that does not bear witness and does not know the reality of what he knows at all. As for manifestation in actions, I mean the ratio of the appearance of beings and manifestations to the Essence from which beings are formed and from which manifestations appear, and this is His Almighty’s saying: What I made them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth. The Truth
