Three kinds of material
The author’s text, an image of a printed or handwritten witness, and a modern editorial introduction serve different purposes. Added headings, topic summaries and reading questions are explanatory material, not words attributed to Ibn al-ʿArabī. Consult referenced passages and the source notes on each page.
Editions and alignment
The Cairo / Maymaniyya and Konya sections provide different ways to approach the work. Their pagination and textual organization differ. Digital text associated with a Konya image may use approximate alignment; it should not automatically be treated as an exact transcription of that image. The manuscript directory and editions guide identify the available witnesses.
What verification means
A browsable chapter index or complete set of page records does not mean every word has been collated. Check the review status, image and cited edition when precision matters. The Arabic page register distinguishes reading records from printed references. A correction is most useful when it includes the page URL, current wording, proposed reading and supporting source.
